The Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is home to Columbia University’s Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program hub.

Our mission, through innovations in clinical and translational science, is to improve health and well-being of our communities as well as communities across the nation and world. Our strategic vision and goals are to catalyze all phases of clinical and translational science, synergize with our partners and stakeholders, and integrate activities within our hub and the CTSA Program across the United States of America.

Our Partners and Communities

Our partners are the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC), Columbia University, New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI), and New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Through our initiatives and programs such as the “Research Navigation System, Learning Health System, and Dissemination and Implementation Science” we impact our local and regional communities.

Our Expertise

With our expertise in “Precision Medicine and Public Health Crises (Opioid and COVID-19)” we help our regional and national partners.

Through all this we help develop, demonstrate and disseminate innovations.
